Very new to BCMS, I know very basically what it is and I know we have it but have not used it much myself.

We have been exporting reports from it for years but someone else set them up and he is no longer with us....

Not sure what version we have, how can I make that determination? We have an Avaya Definity S8500 switch.

The problem today is the reports we have been exporting. Up to 6/15 the report showed all the agents for a skill even if they had not logged in for the day, like being out of the office on vacation. On 6/16 the reports failed to run. On 6/17 the report started generating again, but now they do not show the absent agents, only agents that had actually logged in during the day.

Thanks for the assistance.

Bennie, look under " list reports". You should be able to find the reports that are scheduled to print. To run these reports do a " change report ?" Whatever number you want. Change it to print immediately.

To see what reports you can run "list bcms (then help)" and it will show you all the reports that can be ran. Also if you look around on the Avaya site, you should be able to find the BCMS guide that shows all the commands and reports available.

One last thing to help. When your bcms reports run and shows "0" agents logged in, run this command.

" monitor bcms split ??" this will give you live stats on the group. This also works for VDN,s should you ever need to see what one is doing.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?

For the best response to a question, read faq690-6594

Bennie,

When your logged into the server I believe you should be able to click on help to see what version you are, its been a while since I've worked on one but I think that may help.
