We have installed BCMS SW Release 2, Version 3 on MultiVantage V11. The date format is MM/DD/YY, but the customer asked us to change it on DD/MM/YY. Does anybody have a clue how to do it?
(I have read BCMS help topic, but didn't find solution!)
I don't know if this will work or not, but you can try changing the CDR format for date and see what happens. The command is "change sys cdr". Let me know if that works or not.
The BCMS data doesn't come from CDR but from commands like "list bcms..." that are constantly executed and captured from MultiVantage. I think that changing this will not work.
You can try to change these ".rpt" files from BCMS using a Crystal reports development tool, and then format the date.
Here in Brazil the date format is DD/MM/YYYY and we use the portuguese version.
guys, thank you very much on your answers. edgar, when you use portuguese version, I guess that you get all the texts in BCMS reports on your (portuguese) language. I actually need to keep english, but to change the format. and do I need to reinstall BCMS SW for server and client for language change, or I can change it without reinstalling (of course, I want to keep all my historical data, and so on.
thanks in advance bancci
This is true, all the text in BCMS reports are in portuguese. I told that because what Avaya did was to change the .rpts files to translate the historical reports. To change this you need to reconfigure only the client version (reinstall and change your Windows Regional Settings) and your historical data will be the same.
But to keep the headers from BMCS reports in english and the data format dd/mm/yyyy I have no other idea than changing the crystal rpt's file.
