Hello Team
I have a BCM50R6 working with it now and i try to update to latest SU by using a usb stick.
it is formatted FAT32, and when inserting the usb stick on the machine it reboots.
I tried 3 different usb sticks with same results.
any ideas? I am trying to do a software update by usb as my BEM locked and cannot browse for my computer path...
i support this is another thread... but i have no time to troubleshoot with it now.
Any ideas?
Thank you
Nikos

Hi Nikos

What color is the plastic inside the USB stick?

BCM50 supports 1.0/1.1
In my experience, 2.0 is a hit and miss while 3.0/3.1 is a no go.
Some cheap sticks do not work at all or are flaky.

1.x White
2.0 Black
3.0 Blue
3.1 Teal - Volts & Amps are higher

Those are general colors but there is more colors/meanings

When it reboots did you leave the USB stick in? if so what happened?
