BCM50R3 Can't load patches 1

I have a new BCM50R3. I am trying to load the patches. Process works ok but when the window comes up where you are supposed to apply the patch, there is nothing there. I have re-booted several times, made sure Element Manager is up-to-date but still no go. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you set the TIME and DATE and COUNTRY.

Patches wont apply unless this is done

what window doesn't show? is the software management window where you choose to patch from my computer or bcm? or is it after you select brows? you wont see anything in the directory that you brows to you just need to select it.

I get to Browse, then select the patch from My Computer. It then shows receiving, then validating, then it open a software update window where you would select the patch and apply but the window is always empty. There is no patch to select.

Save the extracted patches to a folder, i.e the files folder within BCM Element Manager and NOT on your DESKTOP!.

They are saved to a files folder and not on desktop.

Download and install the element manager from the bcm you're trying to patch, then retry.

Downloaded EM from the new BCM and still get the same result. Any other thoughts.

What version of Element Manager are you using as I've had this problem and I had to download the lastest version from Nortel's website.

I use 61.0.1 which has the following cartridges installed.

I took and reloaded EM from a copy I had and then updated the cartridge from the BCM 50 and it worked. Thanks for all the help.
