I have walked into a service situation where the old vendor has gone out of business. The system is a nortel BCM50 r2 and I need to load the patches and smart updates to solve some problems they are experiencing, mainly with doorphones and some other weird stuff.
I have access to AVAYA PLDS, but I do not understand how to obtain the r2 patch bundle? I can get some patches for r3 and up (BCM050.R300.SU.Desktop-265.201110, etc.) but all the bundled patches and smart updates point to a blank PLDS and I have no PUB ID. I am able to grab most anything from support.avaya.com, from IP Office to s8300 SW.
I am an authorized Avaya SME BP and this customer needs these patches ASAP. Thanks for any help.
