OK.. I have done this many times, but not on a Release 6.0. I startup the system and wait for the LEDs to be in a certain state before pressing the reset button.

- Power up system
- POWER LED - Yellow STATUS LED - Yellow
- Wait until the POWER LED to start flashing (this is where you press the reset button)

However, the POWER LED never flashes YELLOW, it goes from steady YELLOW to steady GREEN and the status light stays YELLOW. After some time the STATUS light will start flashing YELLOW and then flashing GREEN and then eventually the status light goes steady GREEN.

At no time does the power light flash YELLOW..

Thoughts?? I want to do a level 2 reset so the ROUTER portion will be reset as well.

Thanks!

I think this can only be done via Putty on 6.0?
Installation and Maintenance guide for more, it tells about how it will tell you how to do it using the button but no, it shows how to via putty instead.

If you're trying to do a level 1 or level 2 reset I think you can only do this via Element Manager on R5 or R6. If you don't know the login password then you'll have to install a defaulted hard drive or a multi-image hard drive.
