Folks, I have a BCM50 R1 (basic model) with 32 IP sets and a dozen digital/ATA. We have the PRI add on and the BRI add on, the later providing basically an internal s-bus for centralised fax from a fax server. We want to got R2 for KEMs but my question to you is if I was to replace our unit with the BCM50be, could I use this to provide the internal isdn service like I do with the BRI module. I want the E version to make telephony available to vpn users. I would plan to put a dsm 16+ in place of the isdn bri module to support more sets and a door phone.
