BCM50a EXP.

Hello,
I have BCM50a Rls 1.2 with two exp units, the first one with GATM8 module and the other one with DSM32+ , when I tried to enable the modules the GATM8 enabled but the DSM32+ only enable the first 16 sets and the other 16 still enabling for along time ! . I tried to disable and enable the modules many times without any result, I also disconnect the GATM8 and try to enable the DSM32+ and I have the same pb, I replaced the DSM32+ and the exp unit but the same pb still…

Any idea

I know on a BCM 400, you have to set it at Double density to allow the DSM32+ to only use 1 bus slot. If your BCM50 doesn't allow you to set double density, the DSM32+ is trying to take up two bus slots, and I don't think your 50 has enough slots for that.

The 50 dosen't require the switches to be set.If you tell it in resorces that it's a 32+ it should see it as exp 1 or 2 -1 and -2.Make sure it is in the correct expantion port off of the main unit.If they are then try swaping the expantions.

and you can try cook1082's suggestion - are the switches in the default setting?
