Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how to set up 1 circuit (2 channels) of BRI ISDN2 on a BCM50? I can't seem to see where to start in the Elements Manager software. System comprises of BCM50 main unit, a MBM with the BRIM module. I have enabled the module and it says it's enabled but I'm not sure where to go to next. Also what lights should be showing on the module? I think the manual I need is the BCM50 ISDN Device Installation & Configuration Guide (N00272680) I have found and downloaded lots of manuals but not this one! Any help is appreciated.

Kind regards,
Del

Pool A

Go to loops and set to s-t
Digit receive length uk is 6

Go to public receive length and set to6
Go to target lines and select a line and set public receive number to your incoming number us the last 6 digits of that number.

Assign the line to whatever hunt group you are using

Hi snowman50,

Thanks for the reply. I am hoping to go onsite this week and I'll give your instructions a go. I've found out today that the system had a level 2 reset and therefore is pretty much not programmed for anything! Do you have any advice on what order to do things? It has 11 IP phones that I will probably have to setup as well as the ISDN. Would you configure the phones with a static IP or use DHCP. The BCM50 is connected to the LAN which has a Draytek router setup as the DHCP server. Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Del
