Hello, I am working on a BCM50 3.0 that has one of the older style T1 connections. I have never worked on on only a PRI. I want to confirm that this type of connection will not provide CID inward because there is no D channel. Is this correct?

also, I have the OLI set for each DID number but the caller is still seeing only the main billed telephone number. Is there a way to change this? I thought that there was an option that would allow a forced override of all OLI but I can't remember where that is. Maybe that is set to override the OLI for each DID.

Thank you!

Unless they offer INBAND ANI at least that's wht MCI use to call it.

Cox said that they can send inbound number only but they are not showing the OLI coming from the BCM50. I have the OLI set to send the OLI but they said they don;t see it coming from the switch and they keep seeing the default main company DID number.

Cox just confirmed that they ARE sending the Calling NUMBER. I have NUMBER selected for the display on each set but it is still only showing the line number.

I remember with the Norstar it did not receive CLID or send OLI. Only until PRI came around did that happen.

Make sure the inband signal is: *ANI*DNIS* (the last * may be optional) from your carrier.

Make sure ANI is set to YES on the trunks. If ANI is Y and the call doesn't come through, then there is an issue with how the call is sent from your carrier and they are not formatting the ANI correctly.

It will look like this:
* 6025551212 * 4444 * (where 6025551212 is the calling party and 4444 are the digits you're expecting on the DID)

--DB

Thank you. I can not find ANI option Y or N in the BEM menu under the T-1 setting and options. Is it located under the PHYSICAL or TARGET lines settings?
