Installed a BCM50 6.0 at a customer branch office a while back. The system is connected to a BCM450 5.0 at the customer's home office with H323 trunks.

The customer is complaining that lengthy extension to extension calls between the two sites disconnect at the 15 minute mark.

Is there a timer that can be adjusted to stop this from happening?

I'm not aware of any timer except for some SIP service providers who set a timer for e,g, 30 minutes etc.

I'll take a look, but check to see if you have any settings to do with the lease time for IP connections.

Thank you sir. I'll have the customer check with their ISP.

I've come across this a few times before, it was always a firewall issue with the firewall not responding to the sip re-invite message. Have a look on your router at both ends and make sure SIP ALG is disabled.

I agree, mostly always Router.
Post the make/version of Router they have if you can.

Thank you curlycord and tdmneil. Sorry it took so long to post back but I didn't see your posts until this morning.

I assume the trouble is clear. I haven't heard back from the customer since July when I asked them to get their IT dept. involved.
