We have BCM 50 in one of our remote site in remote area. They need help setting up the VM greeting and VM option.
Basically, right now they have 5 options in their main greeting:
Thank you for calling company XYZ
Press 1 for A
Press 2 for B
Press 3 for C
Press 5 for D
Press 6 for E

When the callers press 1-6, it will be transferred to that phone.

We need help in:
1. Changing the greeting since we have a new hire with a different name
2. Changing the ext. of the option # 5 to a different ext. : ex it will be transferred to 1111 instead of 2222.
3. Setting up a new VM box for the future new hire.

Also, Are we only limited to have 5 options, we need to have 6 options (if you see below we are missing option # 4)

Can I download the VM guide for BCM50?

Thank you for your help,

sienz

See the answers below;
We need help in:
1. Changing the greeting since we have a new hire with a different name(look in Call Pilot manager under custom call routing, tree #1,change, then menu on top and change it, in there you will see the primary and alternate greeting and you re-record them there)
2. Changing the ext. of the option # 5 to a different ext. : ex it will be transferred to 1111 instead of 2222.
(at the mase place where you modified your main menu you will see the options listed from 1 to 6 assigned as "transfer node".Do change and modify the dn in there.
3. Setting up a new VM box for the future new hire.
(In mailbox menu do a "add.delete mailbox" and assign it with the proper dn under extension).
You can have up to 8 choices per menu but if you need more choices you can create Sub-menu's with again up to 8 choices.
Good luck!

I may have to leave it alone for the options since this is one of the remote site.

One more question,

Can we change the primary or the alternate greetings from the phone?

Any online guide?

Thanks,
sienz

The guides are on the BCM itself
If it is on their network then all you need to do is type the IP address of the BCM into the web browser.
Otherwise you will need to hook up a laptop.

You can change any greeting from a phone.....its the only way unless you upload a professional recording.
