BCM50 Voicemail & AA

My client uses AA to answer call, Nnw when you call the number it rings twice then nothing happens. The AA doesn't come on. Any suggestions?

What do you mean nothing happens, something has to happen.
Ring No Answer or dead silence?

Is the voicemail actually working.

Press feature 981 and see what happens.

Could be voicemail is off line.

We we powered the system down and 20 seconds and powered system back up and voice mail now working. It would go to a dead silencr

That is sometimes a sign the hard drive is going, do a backup asap if not done yet.

Silly question but i need to ask, have you recorded any greetings?
if you open the bcm monitor do you see the vm ports active when the call comes in?
