Hello,

I have two networked sites (both running BCM50 2.0). Site-to-site transfers is working fine, however I want the AA at site A to be able to transfer to a hunt group at site B. I figured that I have to set up a target line for the hunt group DN but the system won't let me do it. Any suggestions?

Also, if the AA at site A transfers a caller to a set at site B it works fine, but if the person does not pick up I want to allow other users to pick up that DN using Group Pickup or Directed Pickup. However neither one works - it just says "Pickup denied." It normally works fine for non-voice networking calls. Any ideas on how to get that to work as well?

You have to make a remote access package on the lines(VOIP trunks) at site b and build a route at site a for the lead digit of the target line in site B also in the remote gateway programing add the lead digit to destination digits.
Pickup should work make sure they are in a the same group and that the target line is not private.

For the site A auto attendant to transfer across, you need to enable network transfers in the call pilot configuration and ensure that the Call Pilot DN's have access to the VoIP line pool.

Ok, I added the VoIP trunks (all in BlocA) to the remote access package at both sites. Routes were already built, network transfers were enabled in CallPilot. I did give voicemail DN access to BlocA at both sites as well. However it still doesn't work. As I said, transfers from site A to B work fine for all other DNs, but to transfer to a hunt group DN does not work - it just makes the prime set (2221) ring. I suspect it's a target line problem since there is a target line created for all other DNs so that network calls will work, however I can't create a target line for the hunt group.

cook1082, I am not sure what you mean by the target line being private, can you please elaborate? Group pickup does not work in this scenario even though all phones are in the same group.

Assign a target line to the hunt group to answer.Private is under target lines-line type it should be public to be answered in a PU group.
