BCM50 v2 keycodes

Have a BCM50 v2 and received my keycode file, it is named sysid.lic The first line starts with Sequence 1 and the second line keytype 2 with the following lines showing what is going to be activated. Using element manager I go to install the keycode and the BCM 50 will not accept the file. This is a new system and no keycodes have ever been entered. The file does show the correct sysid (MAC). Tried entering the keycode manually and no go. Any ideas what I'm missing here? Thanks

What message do you get when it does not accept the file?
Did you download the element manager from that bcm50 v2?If not, download, re-install it and try to load the keyfile again.

Does the sysid filename (less the .lic) match the system ID in Element Manager?

the file name/ format is incorrect
sysid_seq#.lic (001122334455_05.lic)

Changed back to orginal password of default admin account and all worked OK.
