We have a dozen BCM50 3.0 systems and one 2.0 system that we want to upgrade to the latest software release, which is version 5 if I remember correctly. We have been self-supporting on these systems, except that we have needed to obtain patches/keycode files/etc from an authorized vendor as we don't have access. Here is our question: can we purchase the upgrades from a partner and install them ourselves, or does Avaya require us to have the partner install the upgrades?
