BCM50 Upgrade Software to R6

Is there any particular reason there is a R5 to R6 software upgrade - NTAT0166 ?

And why does the R2/R3 Upgrade Software NTAT0162 not include R5 in the name when it clearly has the R5 files in it?

I know of one for the Reporting For Contact Center package - the schema version in the XML stream that gets sent from BCM to RCC was occasionally incorrect, requiring a manual hack in the RCC database to allow it to work properly.

I also remember that RLS6 supported third party SIP trunking much easier than RLS5. Believe me I went through trouble with trying to add SIP trunks to RLS5 for months until a kind Avaya (Nortel BCM) engineer upgraded my personal BCM to RLS 6 and SIP trunks worked flawlessly.
