Hi all,
I have a question about sip trunking from a BCM50R3 to a CS1K NRS. This is all new to me so forgive me if it's a dumb question.
We have enabled 4 sip trunks at the BCM50. We use a 4 digit numbering plan. What we need is to be able to call another site which has a 4xxx internal numbering plan. We (BCM50) use a 7xxx numbering plan.
What do I have to configure to make this work. What I do know is the IP-address of the NRS server. Is there more information I need from the CS1K/NRS?
What I already have done is created a blocA pool for the IP trunks. Assigned all extentions to blocA.
created a route: 003, dest code 4, abs length=all, using blocA. So in my opinion if a users dials say:4845 route 003 will be the choice of the BCM which is the SIP-trunk.
I have searched for configuration examples for sip trunking bcm50 to CS1K/NRS but have not found any.
Any help is much apreciated.
BCM programming is not new to me but networking BCM to CS1K it is.
