I have a vendor installing a BCM50 with SRG software on a site a block away from my main PBX. It is connected through SIP Trunking to a CS1000M M/G running 5.0. The IP phones are running correctly (reg to the BCM and passed through to the main PBX). I can dial to the modem lines on the BCM50 through the main PBX but I can't dial out. Just get fast busy. Ideas?

you can't dial out from where?

Just can't dial out from the fax and modem lines that are on the BCM / SRG.

The analogs on the SRG are always in local mode, meaning they dial out via the BCM using what ever Telco lines you have installed. Also make sure they are in the line pool that has the Telco trunks.

Just to add to my previous post, you can have the anaolg dial out the SIP but again the individual analog ports need to have access to the line pools.

When you give access in BCM remember "Pool A" and "Pool Bloc A" require diferent access.
