Customer has a bmc50 r3. It is supposed to be new, loaded keycodes from nortel, some how SRG keycodes were on bcm even though, they werent on my list. nortel regenerated new codes without the SRG codes. but now the bcm shows runing in SRG MODE so none of the digital sets work.

Can I deactivate the SRG? if so how?

Thats what i was afraid of. I was hoping not to do that, I'll loose all my keycodes.

If Nortel sent you a new keycode file, minus the SRG feature set, you can just load the new file after doing the level 2 reset. If you have done a lot of the phone programming already, do a backup before the level 2. You might be able to pull off a telephony data restore and restore your programming.

teh tech loaded the keycodes before doing a level 2 reset. You can inly load a keycode file once, correct?

You can load keycode file after a level 2 reset. No matter how many level 2 reset you do.
