I have a BCM50 Rel 2.0 that the service mode for night service will not answer the main line on the set
Customer has a PRI
On main reception set I prograsmmed the service mode key
In ring group 10 I added the voiceemail dn only
I assigned the target line to ring group 10
When I press the service mode key it comes up and says night service, but the main line will still ring 4 rings and then go to the AA
I had this problem before on BCM50's and I just had to change answer lines in operator status to N and then change it back to Y and it worked
I did a soft reboot of the BCM with same results

Any ideas

check the AA ring timer. in Call pilot line assignment.

Are you using the correct Target line.

The AA ring is set to 4 rings which is what the customer want in day mode.
The target line number is the same number as the line appearance on the reception set

Yes the receptionist is the control set for all of the target lines

Sounds odd, but set up a different ring group and reprogram Night Service.

The DN you are using in the ring group.
Have you checked its the Voicemail DN( Use Feature 985 to check).

Its strange it doesn't work as i do this all the time to force the call straight to AA.

Control set for line200--- 221( reception phone)
Ring group 10 (334) voicemail DN
Target line assigned to ring group 10.

Call pilot line assignment 200 to table 1 ---answer 4 rings.
