BCM50 - Send call to voicemail if set is in use

We have line 067 set to appr/ring on only 1 set (227).

How can we configure this to send the call to the VM (also #227) if the set is in use?

Forward on busy to the voicemail DN. F985 will tell you the forwarding extension. Be aware that this will forward any call made to 227 when they are busy on another call.

Thx - i tried that but all incoming calls are then forwarded to vm.

Forwarding is an option of the set and not the line/s.
The set know it's busy, the line does not.

Is there anyway to send to VM if the line is busy?

Or, do i have to have an auto-attend on that line only with an option to go to that set - and then if busy it will go to vm?

Maybe some trickery involved.

Go to Target Lines and tell that DID If busy go to Prime Set 227 (or try vmails DN too)
On 227 have the target line as Appear & Ring and not just Ring but also go deeper in programming at that spot and make sure there is only 1 appearance selected.
