1. DO I NEED THE MCDN CODE FOR CENTRALIZED VOICEMAIL WITH THE BCM50? IF YES, DO I NEED ONE FOR EACH SYSTEM OR JUST THE MAIN ONE WHERE THE VOICEMAIL IS?

2. HOW MANY EXPANSION MODULES CAN BE ADDED TO THE BCM50? I THOUGHT IT WAS THE MAIN KSU PLUS 2

3. DO I NEED IP TRUNK CODES FOR EACH SYSTEM? LETS SAY SITE A HAS 4 AND SITE B WOULD THEN NEED 4 AS WELL?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

1. Yes - you need the MCDN keycode on both the remote system (BCM 50) and the host system (BCM or CSE). If it's another BCM, it must be running at least release 3.5.

2. Correct. Main cabinet plus 2 expansion cabinets.

3. Ideally you'd have them matched, unless in a multiple site environment. In that case, you might have 8 IP trunks at the head end, and 2 or 4 at the remotes.

Remember your Quality of Service on the routers and setup 802.1q trunking to seperate the vlans from voice and data.
