I have a BCM50 that needs to have some restrictions placed on a couple of extensions so that only internal calls can be made. I've got only a limited amount of experience working with this BCM, so I'm looking for any suggestions anyone might have to achieve this. Thanks.

@ironhorse17: I removed the two listings (A and BlocB) from Telephony -> Active Sets -> Line Access Tab (at the upper half) -> Line Pool Access tab (at the lower half). Would the line listing under Telephony -> Lines -> All Lines need to be removed for it as well?

Active sets, line assignement; what do you have for those extensions you want to restrict.

@ironhorse17: While there are multiple extensions I need to make this change with, my last response was regarding one that I'm initially working on then repeating then going to repeat the steps after verifying that it's setup as it needs to be.

On to the answer...the extension has two assigned lines under the "Line Assignment" tab. The settings are as follows.

Line: 138 and 141.
Appearance Type: Ring Only for 138 and Appr&Ring for 141.
Appearances: 1 (for both)
Caller ID Set: Checked (for both)
Vmsg Set: Checked (for both)
Priv. Received #: Line 138 shows the extension itself. Line 141 shows a different extension.
Pub. Received #: Line 138 shows the extension itself. Line 141 shows a different extension.

In many states it's illegal to totally block calls. 911 call have to be made to go through. just saying.
