BCM50 Reset VM Password 3

Is there a way through telset programming to reset a VM password on a mailbox back to 0000. The end user forgot their PW and I am unable to access call pilot remotely? Thanks to any one who can help!

yes. Using a 2-line phone get into vmail admin programming go to mailbox 1000 then press reset pswd. Just like on the NAM.

there is another way to solve this problem "by using a2-line phone enter feature 985 then press 9 then enter the digits (73738 76 7793)whithout paces
(reset sm pswd)

To reset the password for any mailbox user:

From any 2 line display phone
Press feature 983

Enter your user id (setnna)
enter your admin password (config).

Press MBOX
press CHNG
Enter mailbox you want to reset.
Below the word PASSWORD
press RESET

release

The mail box password is set back to 0000

Go to the extn user phone and enter Feature 981
Enter pasword 0000
You must now change the password

The suggestion by others only reset the Gen Delivery and the System admin Passwords
