Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a BCM50 R6.0 with 6 SIP trunks provided by CSPIRE. Incoming works perfectly with about 30 DIDs setup as target lines. The problem is with outgoing, I've created a route 83 with destination code 9 hitting pool BlocA. I've setup the SIP programming to match the CSPIRE router and protocols but every outgoing call will disconnect at exactly 18sec from the time the call is answered. I've changed nearly every setting I can think of and tried over 100 calls still 18sec drop. CSPIRE is saying they are getting the first request to establish the call but not the second one required to finalize the connection and therefore drops the call. I'm using t7316e digital sets if that matters.

I appreciate all the time everyone puts in on this site. I know your time is valuable.

I'd first check to see if your BCM50 is patched up to date. The latest system patch is BCM050.R600.SU.System-022.201412 and the latest desktop patch is BCM050.R600.SU.Desktop-005.201406. Do the system patch first. Attached is the advanced settings for my USA SIP trunks which work perfectly.

I've recently taken over this account because the original installer is no longer around and I seriously doubt he installed any patches. Where do I find them?

I will check the DN length. Thanks

That must be me then?. Ha-ha. Its best to log in via the Element Manager tool and navigate to where the Administration tab is.

Scroll down to the bottom to find "Software Management" and in there is another tab to view "Software Update History"

This is where you see what patches you might have installed.

What you should have is the following below

BCM50 6.0
==================================

PATCH ID: BCM050.R600.SU.System-022.201412-1 Category: GEN (Reboots System)
PATCH ID: BCM050.R600.SU.Desktop-005.201406-1 Category: GEN
PATCH ID: BCM050.R600.SRG-137-1 Category: GEN (Reboots System)
PATCH ID: BCM050.R600.SAMBA-136-1 Category: GEN (Reboots System)
PATCH ID: BCM050.R600.UTPS-138-1 Category: GEN (Reboots System)
PATCH ID: BCM50R6_FactoryImageUpgrade-1.02-0 Category: GEN

The bottom one is only needed if the BCM was originally sold with a lower release installed.

Have you tried signing up with some free accounts like CallCentric or Voip.MS to see if you have the same disease with them too?

See our FAQ on some settings also:

There are some of us on this forum who can assist you if you have trouble getting hold of these patches as it's not that easy unless you have Avaya web PLDS access.

I've installed all the patches and follow the guides as much as I could. We have a cspire router onsite that the BCM points to. There is no authentication programming required because the cspire router does this. CSPIRE provided a trace analysis for us on the process of outgoing calls. CSPIRE sends multiple INVITES and then BYE messages without a response from the BCM.

The router is owned by CSPIRE and I dont have access to the programming. I have not tried another SIP provider but I will on my next visit to the site. I have a callcentric account so I will see if that works. Thanks
