BCM50 R5.0 8x16 Combo Issue

I am working with a BCM50 R5. I have enabled and loaded the keycode for the expansion cabinet, loaded in the expansion is a 8x16 MBM. The system enabled the GATM8 portion no problem but is stuck at "enabling" for the DSM16. I have reseated the mbm, verified dip switch settings and rebooted the system many times. I am at a road block. Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Justin

try connecting a telephone to one port on the 16 port station mod.
