I can't get a telephone set to say 'Message For You' when there is a Call Answer message. The CO is DMS100. I've programmed the set as a vmsg set and the lines are supervised. What might I be missing? Thanks!

Is the set programed with VMSG . Also you need to put in the Call answer Number in the VMSG programming so when the MSG is left it sends the msg string to that line then to the phone programed to that MSG ctr.

Hi Cook1082. Thank you for your response....Yes the set is programmed with VMSG and the telephone number is in message centre1. I have dialed this number and can get the mailbox so the number is correct. Any other suggestion

here's few things to check:

-Did it ever work on that specific line?
-Is message center set to 1 for that specific line?
-In message center 1,under centralized voice mail, does the Message waiting indication string match the CO settings.
-When you leave a msg in the Telco Mailbox and you monitor the line at the same time, do you hear the message waiting tones(string)?
-Is the Bcm 3.0 patched to the latest?

Thank you Gberger. We'll check the CO settings and patches.
