Hi everyone. I have a customer with a new BCM50R3 and some of the calls get disconnected as soon as they answer. Any idea what would cause this? They are providing live answer not automated attendant first. Thank you for any input.
First make sure to apply all updates for that release.
Second try isolating the problem and if the problem occurs only on one line, change the port to see if the problem follows.
Whattype off lines are they
BRI(ISDN2)
PRI(ISDN30-T1)
POTS (ANALOGUE-LOOP)ETC.
If they are BRI then the default answering method is AUTO.
You need to programme in the recieve digits from the telco supplier.
if its not programmed correcty then the lines could show as cutting of because they cant go anywhere
If lines are manual answer then you can programme line buttons on a phone and check the call coming in.
