Hi Guys,

I am having an issue with BCM50 R3. I am unable to dial certain numbers.

The carrier say they are only seeing 3 digits being sent. When dialing, after the third digit I get an announcement from the carrier stating the access code is not in use. In BCM moniter I see all digits going out. Carrier says they tested with PRI tester and had no issues.

No line or set restrictions anywhere.

Has anyone seen this ? Or had anything similar ?

System is patched up to last SU

Check your Dialing Plan - Public Network. Make sure your set to at National.

Are you using an access code to access PRI or are you using destination codes in routing to access PRI?

Hi Pronei

Dial Plan is set to Public. Just tried national there and there was no change.

I am using routing and destination codes

Thanks

Use the BCM Monitor and one of the TABs you can watch the D channel to see what you are sending and what the Telco is sending back to you. Not the tab that you see the DN's and the Lines when they connect.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Got the issue solved guys. The Public Network DN Lengths were incorrect and truncating digits.

Thanks to everyone
