Greetings again.

Is it possible to check a different mailbox from a phone that already has its own mailbox ---if, the phone you are trying this from is set up for auto-login?

it doesnt appear to be so, but i thought i would ask directly because the documentation doesnt specifically say that it cannot be done.

when i dial Feature 981 from the phone, it never prompts to enter a different mailbox, it plays its 'spoken name' recording and puts me at its own menu. if i hit *, it does nothing, if i hit # it prompts me to enter in an extension but it just forwards me to that extension (as opposed to asking me the enter the password for that extension to check its messages)

When you press F981, does "Other" populate on the display?
If so, press that, then enter the mailbox that you are trying to enter, followed by the password, then Enter.

Those options come up after you have logged in. When you press F981, what populates on your diplay immediately?

Fonedude:

Floppyraid said mailbox is set to autologin so he won't see other etc.

The answer is NO if its set to auto login.
You can use amother pnone thats not assigned a mailbox and log in from there.

If its a problem then take auto login off.
that way the user is prompted to enter thier password. or can press OTHER (t7316)to log in as another user.
