I am trying input 9148 as the public received digits on target line 125, keep getting error stating it is not a valid public received #

Any thoughts ?

Are you using a 9 as a destination code or access code. if you are you either need to change it to another number like 8 or 6 or have the phone company change the recived digit leingth to 5,6 or 7 .

Is there a way I could use 0 as my destination code instead of 9 ? If so, how do I go about it ?

Many thanks.

I wouldn't recomend using ZERO because there is a dial 0 for the recept phone. Yoy can try to see if it will work.

To use zero, set your direct dial set to none.

You could break out your destination codes. Something like:
911
9911
9A
99A
91A (unassign 4 as a wildcard)
914A (unassign 8 as a wildcard)

This would cause an issue if you have local numbers that are 914-8XXX. You wouldn't be able to call any 914-8XXX number. Otherwise, you'll be good to go.
