I hoping I'm not breaking any of the forum rules but I'm trying to establish the password parameters for a BCM50 system.
I have taken a BCM50 system out of service and I wanted to replace the system password with something more generic. Well, I don't know how to explain this beyond brain melt, but I can't remember the new password for the life of me. The old password was in the form of UpperCase-UpperCase-Number-Number-Number-Number-Number-Number-LowerCase-ExclamationMark
I initially tried using a simple password but it didn't meet the requirements. Eventually I found one that worked but, as I already said, my mind's a blank.
I know that Avaya/Nortel could access the system for a fee but the system is not worth the time and expense.
All I'm looking for is minimum length, alpha requirements if any (upper/lower case), numeric requirement if any and any special character requirement.
Hopefully someone will have pity on a poor empty headed fool!
Thanks
Barry
