I have a BCM50 3.7 that is connected via PRI with DID. I have a user that wants to be notified on his cell when he receives a message on his office voicemail. I have logged into his mailbox and turned on message notification with the number. I have tried entering both with and without a 9 as a prefix. When going to select how it dials out in Call Pilot, should I choose Route(only one route programmed 001), or should I choose pool? My PRI is on BlocB which is 17th in the list (Pool A = 1, Pool B = 2, etc...) If I choose pool, I am unable to choose pool 17 since the limitation is up to Pool O(15). Any help you can offer is much appreciated.

You need to choose route when using PRI.

I have route 001 setup for the pri calls on the BCM side. In call pilot under the mailbox settings for "outdial type" I have selected "Route" and am still not able to receive offsite notification. I also found that next to "Route" is a field specified for line/pool. It will not allow you to enter the route number. I confirmed in COS 1 that it is allowed. Has anyone experimented with this before?

You don't need to enter the route number.

Have you given the active application DN's access to the PRI line pool?

I have given all DN's access to the PRI pool and they can call out without any problems. When you say active application DN's, is this what you mean?

Active Application DN's are your voicemail ports. Active Set DN's are your phones.

That was it! I had to allow the DN for voicemail to dial the PRI. Thanks a ton!!!!
