IM VERY NEW TO THE OFFICE SIDE OF TELCOM BUT HAD BEEN A VERIZON TECH FOR 13 YEARS. SO HERES MY ISSUE. I AM WORKING ON A BCM50 WITH 1.0 SOFTWARE. THERE ARE SEVEN POTS LINES THAT ARE BEING FED THRU A POSITRON SHELF (6INCH PIECE OF FIBER ON A TRUNK CARD AT CUST LOC TO PROVIDE SURGE PROTECTION FROM IN HOUSE GENERATED POWER). WHEN A CALLER HANGS UP IN VM OR AA THE CALL IS NOT BEING RELEASED. THE POSITRON IS ONLY PROVIDING -22V AT IDLE, RING VOLTAGE IS AROUND -24V AND DURING THE CALL IT REMAINS AROUND -20V. WHEN THE CALLER HANGS UP THERE IS A SPLIT SECOND -2V DROP. ASIDE FROM THE VOLTAGE ISSUE I DID FIND A PATCH THAT DESCRIBED THIS DISCONNECT SUPERVISION ISSUE BUT DID NOT WORK. SUPERVISION IS BEING PROVIDED AND IS ENABLED. MY ? IS COULD THE VOLTAGE DIFFERENCE FROM A NORMAL POTS LINE BE THE ISSUE (VERIZON IS REPLACING THE CARD WITH ONE THAT WILL PROVIDE -48V) OR COULD IT BE THE FIBER IT HAS TO GO THRU IN THE POSITRON CARD? ARE THERE ANY CHANGES I CAN MAKE WITHIN THE BCM OR ANY HELP AT ALL ON THIS ISSUE.
