BCM50: New 1140e Firmware

Sorry... getting frustrated.

I've got 0625C4D.bin firmware file for 1140e IP set. I've found the "force firware download" button in element manager and I realize that, if configured correctly, the 1140e should download this automatically on reboot.

How do I get the new firmware file onto the BCM50 so that the system can push it to the phone set?

Replying to my own post... From other posts, I know that the firmware updates are supposed to be added to the BCM50 via update patches.

I've applied the Dec 2007 general system patch to the BCM50 R1 box but still I'm not seeing any IP set firmware updates. Is there a specific patch I need to apply? Is there a manual way to force the firmware directly onto the set?

BCM 50 Release 1 does noto support 1100 series phones.
