Have a client with a Nortel BCM50 that plays 2 vmail greetings when no one picks up. Immed. prior to leaving for Hurricane Sandy, they chged (what they thought was) the primary vmail greeting to: "Due to Hurr. Sandy we have closed early......", replacing the usual greeting. Now, and ever since that day (hmmmm, almost 1 yr to-date) callers hear BOTH greetings, then can leave a msg.

Not sure if this is in fact the vmail (mbox 100?) or an auto attendant.

Any assistance greatly appreciated. I'm an Avaya guy.

Thanx in advance,

Tim

Needle in haystack since so many places to record and program/setup.

Try these first...
Go to mailbox 100 and check both Primary and Alternate greeting.
Or check in Table as to what # greeting is told to play.
If Table greetings are ok then check the "Menu Prompt" within the Table itself.

If not sure of programming best to sub this one out.

take a look at the Auto Attendant message, sometimes people record in Greeting 1 and then the Auto Attendant message, there is a repeat key, make sure it's off
