We have a customer with a BCM50 that is losing 15 minutes per day. System is rel 1.0 with all current patches successfully installed. We have changed the battery as well.

Has anyone experienced this issue?

I'm pretty sure we installed all of the appropriate patches - do you happen to know the patch number?

Thanks

Been awhile since I worked a bcm, does that version allow you to point to a ntp server?

software Update BCM050.158-SU3 Description:-
BCM50R1 losing up to 14 minutes per day.
Resolves the BCM50 Time of Day Clock Slip as described in Nortel Technical
Bulletin 2006007430.
Q01475884

its in this patch:

OK, I was able to find a retired alert recommending the latest patch (which includes SU3) and actually explains the reason for the problem (bad crystal oscillator).

We have applied this patch without result, but another option is to set the clock to sync with the inbound CLID trunks which we have not done, yet.

Will post results.

Thanks for the responses.
