The system freezes, all LEDs flash, must be rebooted first thing in AM and then 5-6 times more per day. How do we fix the corruption that appears to cause the BCM to freeze?
Release 6 isn't GA'd yet so unless it's a beta it's something lower.
I'm not sure if you upgraded your software level or just the latest service update for the release you're running.
In either case, you did do a backup right before you applied stuff right?????????
If so, you could just do a level 2 reset and restore from that backup. Just make sure the patch level after the level 2 is the same as what it was when you did the backup.
If you didn't do a backup just before, you must have an older one you could use. If not, you're stuck with having to level 2 it, then reprogram it from scratch but you might be better off figuring out why it needs to be rebooted because when you do one, it seems to clear it up, for a while anyway. The new releases and patches are generally pretty good these days, but that's no guaranty.
I've done quite a few upgrades and patches over the last 6 months or so and they have all gone well.
