BCM50 ISDN2 / BRI No Dial Tone 1

I've a perculiar problem on a R1 BCM50. All of a sudden there's no dial tone on the system BUT the BRI circuits seem to be correctly synchronised as per the NTE's LED's. The fault was initially sent to BT (the service provider) but came back saying there was no problem at their end. I've checked everyting in the BCM monitor and all seems fine (the line's are being reported as idle). I've re-started the BCM (no change) and even changed out the BRI MBM... still no change. Using Element Manager I've reprogrammed one of the handsets to show trunks 065 and 066 but when used these just say 'not in service'. I checked the status of the MBM and it's correctly provisioned with 3 circuits of ISDN. Anyone got any ideas here??
 
Get BT to take them Out of service and bring them back in again.
Otherwise get a Harrier ISDN tester and check lines yourself.

I have had lines in the past like this and it needed BT to bring them back into service.
 
Thanks for that. Error logs didn't show anything. In a bit of desperation I hooked up a Versatility with ISDN modules - turns out there was NDT either. Threw it back to BT and miraculously 2 hours later BT didn't find a fault (!) but the lines sprang into life. Pity I can't send BT a bill for my wasted time. Harrier now on my shopping list!
 
That is typical "BT" they deny that anything is wrong and this puts you in a spot thinking that it's all at your end with the customer also getting annoyed with you and when it's working again, they think that you must have fixed it, so you still get the blame for it.

The fact that you managed to hook up another phone system was a damm good move. At least you should have the customer on your side now.
