i have a bcm50 r3 out of the box. the 1230 ip phones are resetting every 5 minutes. i looked in the software mgmt logs and so no patch history. am i on the right track?
Usually when I see this happening it's an IP address conflict. If you're running an external DHCP server on the same VLAN remember to turn off the BCM50 DHCP server, which is on by default for IP phones.
