BCM50 Install - Keycode Read Error on Sets

I changed out an older phone system in my office for a new BCM50. I am trying this over the weekend while my small office in enjoying Thanksgiving! All rewiring and hookups went well. Element manager connected to network fine. No dialtones - just the Keycode Read error on the 7208 sets. Element Manager sees all the phones and their types.

What is next step?

Did you buy Keycodes for the phones?, you need them to make the phones work. I think you need Keycodes for everything in the main Cabinet but not the Expansion Cab.

I purchased keys for 16 voicemail and 4 outside lines. Also bought an extension 16+ media bay. I thought main bos was liscensed for 12 digital sets?

You will need to buy digital sets keycodes 8 key and 4 key to get 12.... The unit only comes as a bas in which you have to add keys for everything....

Since you also bought the DSM16 for the expansion, you also need a key code to activate that expansion for 16 additional digital sets.

No you don't.You do not need key codes for any BCM 50 expantion.Only the Main cabinet.12 digital 4 internal analog and 4 analog trunks.

You need a keycode to enable the main cabinet to use the expansion cabinet, but not to use the card that is in the expansion.
