Hi all,
We have a BCM50 (ver 1.00.2.04. j ) that we would like to access it across our private WAN in this fashion:
PC BCM Element --cisco router -WAN-cisco router-- BCM50
10.144.1.11 10.144.1.1 10.155.1.1 10.155.1.11
255.255.255.0 255.255.255.0
Do we set the BCM50 static ip/net mask/gateway in the system/IP Subsystem/General Settings with disable DHCP and leave the internal subnet default or do we enter it under Interlan under System/IPSubsystem/Internal Subnets box and leave the general setting default ( 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0/192.168.1.1)with disable DHCP ?
We did reboot each time after each change.
It seems to be a fairly easy thing to do but we have a heck of a time to get this working correctly . OAM Lan access locally ( 10.10.11.1 ) is fine but no go via WAN ( no firewall )
Any advises are deeply appreciated . We had lots of MICS and CICS but this is our first BCM50 .
Thanks,
madwok
