BCM50 How to apply COS (Class of Service)

Im quite new to BCM so am in need of some direction.

I want to restrict certain phones within a network from being able to dial long distance.

I am aware of how to within Element Manager set the COS..

Configuration, Telephony, Call Security and Class of Service.

What I don't understand is how to apply this to a specific DN.

PLEASE HELP!

You need to build restriction Filters and add Exceptions then apply those filters to lines and/or sets.
Sounds like you need Admin training.

How to apply restriction filter to a single dn. Telephony>Sets>Active Sets> then pick the dn you want to change>then click restrictions>
set restrictions> then change to the proper filter. You can probably get away with changing it from the normal filter 02 to 01, 01 will already have restrictions for dialing outside the system.
