Hello,
I'm new to this so forgive the basic question. We have installed a BCM50 in a remote location and would like the main number there to ring at our Corporate locations BCM400 via a VPN tunnel. We currently have call forwarding enabled but would like to take advantage of the VPN and not have to pay LD every time a call gets transferred.
Is this possible and how? I am extremely new to Nortel and the BCM

Thanks!!

You would need SIP trunks between the 2 sites.
or
puchase IP lic. for the BCM 50 site then have an IP set at the 400 site VPN to the 50 site.

It's only dialtone-VZ

Thanks for the info. Sorry I forgot to mention that we have done that as well. Calls are being transferred back and forth without a problem, just that I would like to set it up so that when someone calls the main number at the remote location it rings at the corporate location instead. And not using call forwarding through the local CLEC either.
I basically need to know the steps on where to go to configure this.

Thanks again

How about assign the line to a phone which is cfwd via Feature 4 to a phone at corp.

Try DRT to prime.
that way the caller will ring the extn and after the DRT delay will also ring another phone of your choice by changing the prime extn.

I will try that snowman50 not sure where to configure it (any suggestions would be helpful)but I will try it.
Now the lines coming into the BCM50 are 1FB analog lines not on a PRI. So I can't just say when this calls come into this number route them to ext 1100 for the call coordinator in our corp office?
