On one of our old Partner systems we were able to page speakers in zone 1 or zone 2 or both by hitting the page button and dialing the zone number or 80 for all zones. I've replaced it with a BCM50 3.0 and can't page either zone. The paging equipment is a Valco PagePac Plus D300A with a PagePac Plus controller. I'd like to get the zone page to work but if not at least be able to do an all page. I do have audio and dtmf tones at the input of the Valcom.

Are you tring to use the page port on the BCM?

this type of paging system interfaces on a trunk port not the page input.

You'll have to connect your paging equipment to a trunk port.

I'd try it on the BCM Page Port, connect to the Tip and Ring input on Valcom and press Ftr62 to test. It will be All-Page.

I am connecting the Valcom to the BCM page port and I was able to get all page to work by removing the page control unit and connecting the speakers directly to the amplied output of the D300. Does anyone know what the control unit is looking for besides DTMP? When I monitor the page port on the old Partner and do a zone page, it sounds exactly like the output from the BCM when I page and dial the zone code. When paging from the BCM, the LED on the amp that indicates paging access does light but I get no audio output from the amp.
