As a quick fix to noisy fans (before I relocate the physical units), I have bought 2 Delta Fans for an expansion unit per this thread (thanks in advance to NorstarExpert)

I am a newbie to BCM50/telephony in general but am tech minded and have built my own pcs etc

Question is can I simply turn off the expansion unit, disconnect all connections, replace the fans, reconnect all connections, power up and we are good to go ? No reprogramming/re-interfacing required ?

I have the BCM50 manual and have read up on fan replacement so know what is involved.

Any help would be appreciated
