BCM50 Direct Dial to Company Directory

We have a BCM50 R3. I am extremely new to this type of stuff, so I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere. I just cannot seem to find a solution anywhere (I'm probably just not using the right search terms).

All I'm looking for is a way to set up a number that allows me to directly dial into the company directory (auto-attendant?). The closest thing I have been able to figure out so far involves bouncing through a mailbox first, but it's a convoluted multi-step process.

Please let me know if I missed sharing any relevant information.

I'm not sure I understand your question completely. Are you referring to my workaround? If so, it's just a standard user voice mailbox. You just call somebody's (your) direct number and dial ** when the greeting starts playing. After that, there's quite a few more steps to actually get what to what I want.

Is it a call pilot voice mail? If so you just need to build an application that points to your directory in application builder.

The BCM 50 is not capable of dialing into the AA from an internal DN.

BCM's only come with Callpilot wich is built in.
BCM and Norstar Callpilots do not use Application Builders, only M1/Successions CP's do.

We have a different setup, which is what I was getting at. Ours networks back to a central call pilot. We have BCM's, norstar, opotion 11 all with mailboxes built at one central location.

Are you looking to do this external or internal? Internal do feature 988?
