I can connect to the BCM and get an IP address on my dial up connection (10.10.14.2). However, when I try to connect with Element Manager, it doesn't find the BCM, and my IP's subnet is 255.255.255.255, which doesn't make sense... any idea?

good luck... anytime i have ever connected to one via MODEM it is extremely slow and often disconnects.

When ever you connect to a BCM (50 or 400) etc, you can specify either the LAN1 or LAN2 / OAM ports.

I usually get aroung 30k. Yes it's slow, but saves a site visit for small jobs!.

All the best
