The boss had the receptionist google conference phones. She gives me a stack of printouts with Polycom Voicestation 300, Spracht CP -2016, Soundstation2 Avaya 2490, etc and tells me to look at the stack. I gather none of these phones will work because they are analog. Will any digital conference phone work? I will look at the Norstar Digital Audio Conference Phone.
The digital interface on the BCM/Norstar is unique and only a digital confernce phone specifically build to that interface will work. That is the Norstar Digital Audio Conference Phone.
If you wanted to use an analog interface or an IP interface, then there are other options.
On the installers sheet, it list 12 digital & 4 analog. I looked at the 66 block, there are punch downs marked 213 - 216 but no cross connects. The digitals are marked 201 - 212 they each are cross connected to jacks in each office.
The analog could be for analog lines and they are connected at the top labled 61,61,63,64 the 213-216 are for analog phones but if they are not enabled with key codes they wont work. You can cross connect them to a jack and take a regular analog phone to test. Dial 9 to access the lines.
You are right about the 61-64 incoming lines. And right below them are 213 - 216. What kind of analog phones? I am familiar with Partner analog phones, but they need 2 pairs. Are you talking about a regular T/R analog phone that needs dial tone?
